This special publication contains the notes of the lectures delivered under the NAL - UNI series program entitled 'GFD - Advances and Applications -1994' held at NAL during October 26 - 28, 1994 and coordinated by Dr. S.M. Majumdar and Dr. M.D. Deshpande of CTFD Division, NAL. The topics covered in this series include finite volume algorithm for inviscid gas dynamics, viscous-inviscid interactive methods, turbulence modelling, spectral methods, discrete vortex method for computation of viscous flows, vortex breakdown, hypersonic viscous flows, parabolized N-S equations and CFD on parallel computers.
