Abstract
The conventional least-square approximation was also13; applied to the same problem. But by actual computation it13; was found that relative error in approximating the function13; by least-square approximation was too high to be compared13; with that in approximating the function by minimax approximation. This guides us to apply the minimax approximation to the problem.
