Abstract
An investigation has been made to study the effect of addition of strake over a basic wing; forming hybrid planform. Preliminary tests were conducted at NAL 1-Pt . Trisonic Wind Tunnel at M = 0.4, 0.62, 0.75 and 0.85 and at angle of attack upto 15xB0;. The results snow that compared to the basic wing, the wing with strake gives higher lift and lesser induced drag at high incidences. But the pitching moment becomes more positive in the case of wing with the strake. The results compare well with the available results .
