    Abstract

    A balance of two inch diameter of internal strain gauge balance with replaceable axial force unit has been designed. It is proposed to use tiis balance with a sleeve to suit models designed for TASK 2xAB;5 inch balance as well.. The need for this balance has arisen since the zero lift drag for typical aircraft models is of the order of 35 Ibs which is only one tenth of the full load range of the existing 2.5quot; TASK balance.
