Abstract
It is a well knovm fact that the millivolt output of a thermocouple is not linear with respect to the temperature being measured. It is often necessary to linearise this output and express it in enigneering units (namely in xB0;C or of). The data logging systems developed in NAL so far, for the measurement of temperature using thermocouples, do not have the facility to give a linearised output.
