Abstract
For efficient testing of aeroelastic models in wind tunnels, a programmed variation of the dynamic pressure during a run is desirable. A system which provides variation of dynamic pressure resulting from a variation of stagnation pressure, in either a step-mode or a continuous mode has been designed and integrated with the PRV control systems of the HAL 4-ft trisonic wind tunnel. This report describes the salient features of the system and provides its operating instructions.
