Abstract
A 16 mm black-and-white motion picture was taken through the13; Schlieren system of the 4-ft. tunnel during supersonic tests of13; the SLV-3 Booster model. The purpose was to record the observed13; sudden changes in the configuration of the lee-ward vortices on13; the booster model at higher angles of attack, which appeared to13; coincide with abrupt reversals of the side force measured simultaneously on the balance13;
