Abstract
This work was initiated with the objective of providing effective silencers for the blowdown wind tunnels and other sources of significant aerodynamic noise at the Wind Tunnel Centre. Measurement and analysis of noice spectra and design of suitable Acoustic System for Air Storage System Blow-off Ehaust and 1 -Ft. Tunnel Exhaust miffler were the first tasks included in the project, the experience so gained to be ultimately applied for the design of exhaust silencer for 4-Ft.Tunnel.
