    Abstract

    This report describes the experimental determination of13; seven basic mechanical properties of ten different carbon13; epoxy material systems. Testing is carried out in computer13; controlled testing machine. Strain gauges are employed to13; measure strains. Shear properties - modulus and strength are determined by employing + 45 degree angle coupon tensile test. Ten replicate specimens are used for each property. Mean values and coefficients of variation of each property are presented.
