Abstract
In recent past, the aeroengine research and developnent conununity working in various research/educational institutions and industries in the country have opined that they desire to have the availability and accessibility to a simple and inexpensive but versatile sealevel static full scale aeroengine test bed in the country to fulfil multi-faceted tasks and requirements demanded by the country's indigenous design and developnent programme of aircraft and its aeroengines in the ensuing decade. This report describes in detail such a dedicated test facility envisaged as a National Test Facility, and proposed to be set up at National Aeronautical Laboratory, under the acronym ITTRA13; (Innovation Trials Test Rig for Aeroengines).
