Abstract
Several statistics on education and employinent such as 1. Budget allocation by Union and State Governments, 2. Enrolment of students into various disciplines, 3. New schools and colleges set every year, 4. Statistics on Higher education and engineering education in particular 5. Employment and unemoployment patterns among the educated and various other types of statistics with main emphasis on engineering education and employment were collected.
