    The document describes the design and development of 38O based single board real time micro-computer system for the purpose of multi-channel (8)data acquisition . The system accepts 8 random electrical signals, determines the maximum and minimum of each signal and displays these values in engineering units on a VDU . The system can also be used as an accurate mufti-channel digital voltmeter . The various system specifications have been determined
