Abstract
Some aspects of Engineering Software Activity at NAL are13; discussed particularly with reference to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).13; NAL effort in the development of Engineering software is13; aimed broadly at three areas - (1) Fluid and Thermal Sciences,(2) Flight Mechanics and Control, -and (3) structural Analysis and Design. It is in the first area that considerable money and time are spent. Some examples of systems designed by CAD methodology and flow calculations in CFD are given.13; The Nork described here in includes results of at least a13; dozen computer codes of a ARDB sponsored Handbook on the Aircraft Design and Analysis Software and a large number of codes that are not included in the Handbook in the present version.
