Abstract
The author participated in the Spring College in Materials Science on Metallic Materials, at Trieste, from 11. May. 1987 to 19.June.1987.About 100 lectures, on topics related to the study of defects and microstructures in metals and alloys and disordered materials, were delivered by persons well established in these areas . made to high- light In this report an attempt has been the gist of lectures on the following three topics .13; (1) Amorphous Metals .13; (2) Liquid Metals .13; (3) The Theory of Point Defects .
