Abstract
While fiberoptic passive couplers are mainly developed to13; resemble their microwave counterparts, the active coupler13; using the repeater technology is more versatile as its function could be altered to suit the user. One such unidirectional active coupler designed for digital applications for fiberoptic systems is described here.
