    Abstract

    Computer programs have been developed (i) for least squares13; (ii) to refinement of the dimensions of a hexagonal unit cell, identify the centre of gravity of a diffraction profile and (iii) to identify the reflections with sin 28 1.0, from any unit cell. The programs have been tested and used for x-ray analyses of materials.
