Abstract
The-present work on grid generation is the Phase I of a project titled 'Hypersonic Flow Studies' that has been initiated at NAL . The scope of the project is to solve flow problems by the CFD methods on missile and reentry type configurations towards this goal, a computer code based on an algebraic method has been developed and grid generation has been carried out for such configurations for different flow fields and numerical schemes . The technique has been developed in parametric style to cluster the grids on the body and to cater to - different CFD methodologies and different flow conditions like moderately high Reynolds number, very high Reynolds number, very high Mach numbers etc.A variety of grids are obtained and illustrated in this report to demonstrate the capabilities of the code developed .
