Abstract
The design, development and testing of 64 Channel Z80 Microprocessor Based Strain Gauge Data Acquisition System is described in detail. The 64 Channel DAS was designed to acquire data from 64 locations and communicate the data to a video display unit or a host computer. The excitation voltage for the strain gauge bridge transducers is electronically controlled and implemented on the DAS board.
