Abstract
This PD presents the details of the development of an expert13; system in Turbo Prolog for VENDOR SOURCING AND EVALUATION (VSE)13; in an Ramp;D organization like NAL . The vendor list with all13; attributes like vendor's name, product name with suitable section13; and code are available in dBASE III . Modifications to this list13; of vendors can be directly made in dBASE III itself . The13; TURBO PROLOG expert system accesses the dBASE III vendors list13; and sorts them out with either the firm's name or the13; product's name . This system advises the chairman, SPC on13; suitable list of vendors who are most qualified to supply a13; specific item especially when the item is of a developmental13; nature .13; The entire package is highly user friendly and interactive in13; nature .
