Abstract
The Monthly Accounting Package, is a set of. COBOLPrograms that has been devel6ped to facilitate the finance Jnd Accounts Section to maintain the monthly and annual accounts. This can run on PC/XT which has COBOLsofquot;tware package and DOS environment. This package has basically followed the account head codification done and approved by CSIR. This package has been installed at; NCL, Pune and CFTRI, Mysore and is working satisfactorily.
