    Abstract

    Rainflow cycle counting provides the basis for accelerated fatigue analysis covering crack initiation and growth to failure. The assumptions used in accelerated analysis and procedures for fatigue damage estimates are described ongoing research on the improvement of modelling is briefly reported.
