Abstract
A Linear Simulation Software (LINSIM) has been developed to simulate the flight of an unstable airplane in the linear domain. The unstable plane is artificially controlled by suitable design of fly-by-wire control laws to ensure desired handling qualities. The software is an invaluable aid in the design and evaluation of the flight13; control law. The airplane can be trimmed for various trim states like straight and level, left turn and right turn, push-over and pull-up and the linear models generated through the linearizing link software ALLS. The software provides airplane motion through pilot command inputs from13; the stick. It facilitates interactive plotting 0f time histories 0f all the f1ight variab1es. The software plays an important role in the iterative process of fly-by-wire control law design and evaluation.13;
