Abstract
This report which is in continuation of an earlier report PD-W E-9001,gives wind speed and wind direction data at two sites on the ridge crest, of Kappata Hills situated south of Gadag in Karnataka . The measurements have been carried out for the year 1990 .using Second Wind data loggers (AL-2002S) with Maximum wind speed sensors and NRG levels at monthly wind vanes mounted at 10 m and '20 m two sites . This report provides summarised mean wind speeds, wind speed-duration speed and maximum data,wind direction, peak wind lull for each month .
