    Abstract

    A stable , accurate amp; efficient implementation of MacCormack's algorithm for the inviscid limit of the parabolised Navier-Stokes equations is demonstrated. Shock capturing and application of boundary conditions based on the normal mometum equation at the wall has been applied. The post and pre shock oscillatiops have been considerably13; reduced by using a second order smoothing.Canputed results for the sharp cone at angle of attack show good agreement with Babenko's.
