Abstract
An existing code for calculation of Turbulent, Incompressible flow for complex geometries properties13; using k- E model is modified for prediction of turbulent13; to run with a Low Reynolds number version of the k- 6 model. The code which was -using Wall Functions has been for calculation of near-wall properties modified suitably with the Low Reynolds been near-wall number version to obtain more accurate in a plane 2D has quantities. chosen as the Flow channel test case with periodic boundary conditions. The results of five different Low Reynolds Numerical number version are compared with Direct Simulation-results . The computation domain of the channel has 5x80 control volumes with a stretching factor of 1 .05 in the transverse direction.
