    Abstract

    A study of the dynamic stability characteristics of13; the NAL Light Transport Aircraft, LTA-7 is made in this13; report. The dynamic stability derivatives of the aircraft13; are evaluated at low angles of attack (unseparated flows)13; and incompressible flows. A comparison is made of the13; estimated derivatives with the range of experimental values13; available in the open 1iterature for 1ight aircraft for13; validation of the computer code used.13; The characteristic equations of the linear small13; disturbance equations of motion for both the longitudinal13; and the lateral dynamics are solved and the stability13; characteristics evaluated. A discussion of the flying13; qualities vis-a-vis the FAR regulations is also made.
