Abstract
This document deals with an algorithm for generating13; Handling Quality models for the lateral/directional axes13; of modern high performance aircraft when a flight condition13; is specified. The procedure involves the solution of13; a set of nonlinear equations which relate the quantitative13; HQ parameters to the aircraft stability and control derivatives. The software package is developed using PCMATLAB. Three alternate techniques are developed for13; the solution of the set of nonlinear equations . The HO)13; models are analysed using the lateral/directional HQ package already developed . The flight control designer can use these HQ models, as reference models, for the synthesis of augmentation systems
