Abstract
An heuristic explanation is provided for the anamolous13; numerical solutions of the Ruler equations for inviscid, subcritical, two-dimensional flow past an ellipse at an angle of attack in an unbounded flow. Some comments are also made regarding flows past other two-dimensional bodies with sharpedges.
