Abstract
The application of artificial neural networks to problem of parameter estimation of dynamical systems and aerodynamic prediction/ modeling has been investigated. Several schemes were studied and programmes in MATLAB were developed to validate the schemes. Some results of flight data analysis using recurrent neural networks are also given. The relationships among various neural network schemes and with other conventional estimation methods have been established for the first time.
