Abstract
A Cartesian Grid generator (2-D) has been developed in FORTRAN to create grids around arbitrary 2-D - shapes. The code has been based on a capturing technique in which the interruptions of a moving point along specified geometry with the cartesian mesh are obtained by stepwise movement of a hypothetical beetle. The cartesian grids show encouraging performance by using the developed code for arbitrary 2-D shapes.
