Abstract
TSpalart-Allmaras model at high angles-of-attack and the effect of various flow parameters on the flow field. Here the flow field is he aim of the present work is to study the perfocharacterized by the presence of strong vortical, separated flows on the leeward side and strong shocks on the windward side. The ability of this turbulence model to capture dl these features is discussed. Three different test cases of varying Mach number, Reynolds number, and angle-of-attack are considered. The effect of these parameters on the flow field is discussed. The results of the study are compared with computational and experimental data available in literature.
