    Abstract

    Plastics are polymeric materials and in their as cast fore, do not possess sufficient strength And stiffness to be useful in structural and long term applications. When reinforced with strong and stiff materials in fibre form, these are called the fibre reinforced plastics, (FRP), which can be processed into different shapes and sizes though a variety of fabrication techniques. This booklet is intended to give the readers an initial idea of these materials and their potential used in our modern perspective.
