Abstract
This proposal describes the first phase of the work comtemplated for the Missile Design Manual . The project envisages to undertake the development of a Computer Code for the estimation of Six-component forces and moments for nonzero roll orientations of wing-body-tail Cruciform Configuration. It includes experimental study of the effects of nose-bluntness, midbody/aftbody flare and boattail, and also of the control-surface gap on the aerodynamic characteristics of axisymmetric bodies, and incorporation of these effects ih the main code.
