Abstract
A sensor data fusion algorithm based on H-infinity filters is investigated for a two-sensor situation. The performance of the fusion algorithm is evaluated when there are measurement outliers in the data of a sensor. Results of validation are presented for two local filters tracking a moving object using simulated data with noise. The results of the H-infinity based fusion filter are relatively new.
