Abstract
The aim of the present work is to incorporate the implicit13; time-stepping procedure called Lower-Upper Symmetric Successive Over Relaxation (LU-SSOR) into the code MB-EURANIUM. Three different variants of the method are implemented into the code. The rest is a matrix-free version method. The second is a full-matrix version and the third is a simplication of the full-matrix version with scalar diagonal. The full matrix version can either use ux vector13; splitting or Roe's formulation to obtain the implicit matrix. The code is tested on two standard test cases and the results are compared with available experimental data.
