Abstract
Fibre metal laminates are a new class of materials that have shown promise for application in the aerospace sector. This combination results in super composite laminates with an ability to impede and arrest crack growth caused by cyclic loading aligned in the fibre direction. Here, Exploratory studies are canied out using commercial grade aluminum and AL 2014 grade aluminum.
